About ETC NEXT
ETC NEXT is the Town of Essex’s process to re-imagine Essex Town Center. The original master plan for Essex Town Center was completed in 1991 and, while a useful guide for long-term planning in the area, it did not anticipate the ongoing changes in the regional development market and pressures for housing that exist today. Much has changed.
The ETC NEXT project has included a substantial effort to engage the Essex Community. This included a Focus Group Workshop, two Community Surveys, a Community Workshop and the ongoing coordination of the effort with a community- based Steering Committee.
