Ice Rink

RINK STATUS:  CLOSED AS OF 3/6/26.

We need your assistance to maintain the ice rink!


We are looking for shovelers to keep the rink clear on weekends and holidays. If you would like to assist us with this and have questions, please reach out to Harlan Smith at hsmith@essex.org to answer any questions you may have. 


If you decide to go clear the rink on your own, we ask that you plan to clear the entire rink of snow. Leaving piles of snow on the ice damages the rink by deforming the ice underneath.

This Winter our ice rink is located at Foster Road Park (60 Foster Road). There will be a sign (open/closed) at the top of the dirt road of Foster Road and another at the rink.

Free to the public! Bring your own skates!

Lights turn off at 9 pm.
