The Essex Parks and Recreation Department is seeking volunteers for the Trail Caretakers Program. This program gives volunteers the opportunity to care for the trails they love on their own schedule. Volunteer Workdays
The Essex Parks and Recreation Department is seeking volunteers to assist with trail maintenance during scheduled workdays. Workdays will generally be held monthly on Saturdays from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 A.M. and are led by the Town Trails Coordinator. All tools will be provided.

Potential tasks include:
- Managing water and erosion
- Installing signage
- Removing invasive plant species
- Improving trail infrastructure
