Beginner-Intermediate French

Frenchspeaking

Do you possess good vocabulary in French, but still struggle to speak? This class is a good fit for students who've had the equivalent of two/three years of high school or college-level French. This Spring session will focus on storytelling, specifically the most frequently used past tenses. A review of other useful tenses will include different pronouns such as Y and EN and picking up additional verbs and expressions to fine-tune one's speaking. Using Contacts - Langue et culture francaises (8th or 9th edition), students are encouraged to converse a maximum while acquiring the new language and structures in authentic contexts and with engaging exercises. Additional short cultural readings are provided, as is the option to submit written work.

Unable to make it in person? Instructor Marc Juneau can accommodate you online via Zoom! Class will run for 8 weeks.
