A message from the Essex Town Clerk
The Essex Town Clerk’s Office has received several inquiries this morning following the school vote yesterday wanting to know if the budget articles passed. In the Essex Westford School District, the budget ballots are collected at each voting district and then transported to a central location to be co-mingled and counted by the voting machines. The ballots submitted by voters yesterday were transported by election officials from each voting district to the Essex Town Office and stored in the vault overnight. The ballots from all three districts will be processed today and a post will be submitted to Front Porch Forum announcing the results.
