Essex Westford School District Election - April 14, 2026
You will not automatically receive a ballot for the School District election. There are three voting options: 1) request a mailed ballot; 2) vote early or pick up your ballot at the Clerk’s Office, or 3) vote in person at the polls on April 14, 2026.
- If you would like a ballot mailed to you, please choose one of the options below to request an early absentee ballot. The deadline to request an absentee ballot is 4:30pm, April 10. Log into your My Voter page, https://mvp.vermont.gov/ and request your ballot online. Tip: to receive a ballot for all elections held in 2026 by mail, please complete the date range through the end of 2026 and a ballot will automatically be mailed to you. Alternatively, you can email or call the clerk’s Office at clerk@essex.org or 802-879-0413.
- Vote early or pick up your ballot at the Clerk’s Office, 81 Main Street, Essex Jct. Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
- Vote in person at the polls. Polls will be open from 7:00am-7:00pm on April 14th at the Essex Middle School, 60 Founders Road, Essex, VT.
Given the short time frame from when you receive your ballot and April 14, we strongly recommend that you hand deliver your voted ballot no later than 6:00am April 14 to the Essex Town Office, 81 Main Street, Essex Jct. There is a drop box available to the right of the entrance door for after hours. For ballots being returned after 6am April 14, please bring them to the Essex Middle School, 60 Founders Road, Essex. Ballots not received by 7pm at the Essex Middle School on April 14 will not be counted.
